On March 26-28 in the context of the\u00a0High Level Industrial Dialogue\u00a0between the EU and Ukraine the international cluster meeting\u00a0EU-Ukraine Cluster Policy Learning and Matchmaking Event 2018 <\/strong>took a place in Kyiv. The event organizers were Directorate General Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), European commission and PWC – international consulting company in cooperation with\u00a0European Cluster Collaboration Platform.<\/p>\n

On the meeting Precarpathian eco-energy cluster <\/strong>represented by\u00a0<\/strong>Managing director Lyudmyla Shyko has a speech\u00a0\u201cInternational cooperation: barriers and benefits\u201d <\/strong>in a context of common project\u00a0with Hungarian gold label\u00a0ArchEnerg Innovative International Cluster of Duilding Trade and Renewable energy,<\/strong>\u00a0represented bu Ram\u00f3n Vivanco Mugarra,\u00a0under EaP Plus Cluster Grant scheme. And also obtained a great opportunity to speack with potential partners from european clusters working in energy field:\u00a0Oy Merinova Ab \u2013 EnergyVaasa cluster (Vaasa, Finland),\u00a0Baltic Eco-Energy Cluster (Gdansk, Poland), \u201cInteligentna Energija\u201d cluster RES (Zagreb, Croatia), Green Energy Innovative Biomass Cluster (Sf\u00e2ntu Gheorghe<\/b>, Romania)<\/strong>, and to discuss a common strategy for clustering with other Ukrainian clusters:\u00a0Kharkiv \u0406\u0422 cluster, Volyn energy cluster \u201cInnovation energy\u201d, Kharkiv AgroFood cluster, Chernivtsi \u0406\u0422 cluster \u201cCluster Bit\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0ect.<\/p>\n

The Matchmaking Event organizators have invited\u00a0El\u017cbieta Bie\u0144kowska,\u00a0European Commissioner for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs;\u00a0Slawormir Tokarski, the Director of Innovation and Advanced Manufacturing from DG GROW, European Commission; Christophe\u00a0Guichard, Teamlead of\u00a0DG GROW; Peter Keller, International and Cluster Unit, Ministry for National Economy of Hungary;\u00a0Katarzyna Kuza, Innovation Department, Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology of Poland;\u00a0Nicolas Perrin, from the Embassy of France in Ukraine;\u00a0Stepan Kubiv, Ukrainian First Vice Prime Minister;\u00a0\u00a0Oleksandr Chernykh, the Head of Industrial Policy Department, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine <\/strong>and\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>over 70 representatives of 50 cluster organisations<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0Ukraine\u00a0<\/strong>and other\u00a012 COSME countries<\/strong>\u00a0(Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, Serbia, Spain, Ireland, Poland and Hungary) for cross-sectorial meetings in the field of Information Technology, Agro\/Food, Eco-energy and Building and Construction, Transport and Logistics, and Textile.<\/p>\n

During the event over 90 successful meetings were held where practical principles for successful implementation of cross-border and intersectoral cooperation were discussed.<\/p>\n

“There is no recipe of good cluster collaboration, but working together and staying united are key” noted by Michal Pukacz from the Polish Research and Development Cluster of the Internet of Things<\/p>\n
