Under the project “Ukrainian renewable energy clusters as an effective tool for development and cooperation of Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises” supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland (201/2016) members of Precarpathian eco-energy cluster visited Lublin, Poland.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize Ukrainian participants with the idea of clustering implemented in Poland and demonstration of best practice practices. The participants took part in meetings at the institutions that are members of Eastern Cluster ICT in order to familiarize themselves with the benefits of belonging to clusters. Cluster members – firms and institutions representing various specialties of RES (solar farms, solar collectors, small hydroelectric plants, biogas plants, etc.), as well as representatives of local administrations, in particular, in departments for economic development presented their expirience in investor engagement and cooperation with scientific and business circles. In addition, very important for Ukraine was acquaintance with new strategy for business development using innovative tools (including popularization of startups, enterprise incubators, technology parks), which, in particular, was presented in Lublin Scientific and Technological Park.
