On November 6-8, 2018, the 5th Annual European Utility Week (EUW) – the largest event of the year for industry representatives in the smart specialization – took place in the cozy city of Vienna. Leading high-tech companies, individual country pavilions, start-ups and a series of parallel sessions featuring the latest data on innovations and strategies for Smart City, Transport and Grid. This year, about 12,000 visitors from 100 countries have attended the forum!!
Ukraine was represented at this forum by the Precarpathian eco-energy cluster (PЕЕC), without its stand at the moment, but with participation in the EU-Korea Cluster Matchmaking Event, at which, in addition to the leading Cleantech clusters in the EU, was also a delegation from South Korea. The meeting was organized by the European cluster platform (https://www.clustercollaboration.eu/node/6045) with the support of the European Commission.
A separate comment on the high level of organization of such a large-scale forum – the comfort of the stay, the placement of the exhibition center and the number of staff, whom anyone could contact practically around the clock, both locally and online. As for exhibition halls – interactive digital stands impressed with diversity and creativity, making it possible to understand the level of competition between companies in the European market. This should to be seen .. Well, get ready, next year European Utility Week will be held in Paris;)
