The first founding meeting of the Green Carpathian EDIH project

On April 28, the first founding meeting of the Green Carpathian EDIH project took place.

The Green Carpathian European Digital Innovation Hub (GC-EDIH) is a regional European digital innovation hub designed to accelerate green and digital transformation in the Carpathian region of Ukraine. The initiative is aimed at supporting businesses, communities and organizations in implementing modern digital solutions.

The meeting marked the start of the operational phase of the project. The partners agreed on a common vision, key goals, distribution of roles in the teams, and also identified important steps for the near future, in particular, the launch of the first services for small and medium-sized businesses.

“The main activity of the hub will be focused on providing digital and green transformation services, namely: digital maturity assessments, training and development of the innovation ecosystem. In the start-up project, these services will be free of charge for small and medium-sized businesses. “Therefore, the launch of Green Carpathian EDIH is the development of the innovation ecosystem of the Carpathian region,” emphasized Maksym Karpash, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development of the University of Kyiv (Maksym Karpash).

PEEС is the leader of WP4: Service Delivery for Green Transformation.

The project is implemented within the Digital Europe program and co-financed by the European Union.
